The Departure Lounge

flyboy baz earned his pilot's licence before he could walk. Or dance. By age 12, he was drafted to teach US Fighter Pilots classified combat manoeuvres and advanced dancefloor techniques. After pioneering commercial aviation’s longest non-stop inflight dance routine, he disappeared from public view for several years. Rumours circulated that he operated a fly-by-night, drink-by-day smuggling operation in the remote South Pacific, delivering crates of Japanese import CDs and Cuban rum to isolated communities in need of rare grooves and Mai Tais. I guess we’ll never know the truth of it.

House Hussler

DJ Hussler is an artist and DJ based in Sydney Australia. He grew up with different music influences cutting across all genres. In the early 90s he imported UK and European underground dance music into the South African rave scene before relocating to the UK to be closer to the epicentre of dance music. His DJing was limited to house parties, until a friend wrote him in for a national DJ competition, surprising him on the night of his slot. DJ Hussler won 8 competitions in a row to take out the Southern England heats, making it to the finals. Whilst he didn’t win the overall competition, the experience propelled his love for music and driving the crowds wild with his energetic sets. Working the club scene, he became known for his signature blend of uplifting hard dance, playing at renowned venues like Camden Palace (KOKO) in London and Insomniacz in Sheffield. After an extended hiatus from the industry and an international journey that reshaped his sound, DJ Hussler returns to energise crowds. He joined Groove London Radio in April and Bondi Radio in October, playing to international audiences, blending various styles of uplifting house and hard dance.

Since his return, he's produced and released All About House Music, Got No Love for the Base (UFO Records), Ready for This, Faint Echo, Angels Calling Energy Club Mix, Angels Calling and Freedom, bringing back classic high energy floor fillers.
