Learn to DJ, create content and build confidence inside a real-world radio station and media studio environment at Bondi Radio HQ.

Bondi Beats Academy is designed for everyone from complete beginners and young creators through to aspiring DJs, broadcasters and content creators wanting hands-on experience with professional equipment in a fun, creative and supportive environment.

We also offer remote DJ lessons via live video call, making it possible to learn from anywhere in Australia or around the world. Remote sessions cover DJ fundamentals, mixing techniques, music preparation, Rekordbox setup, live performance skills, and personalised one-on-one coaching tailored to your experience level.

    Bondi Radio is also developing future youth and community programming, including potential weekend morning shows for younger presenters and emerging DJs.

  • Training is led by Keith “Hodgie” Hodgson, Founder of Bondi Radio, with over 30 years of DJ experience and more than 25 years working in radio broadcasting and media production.

    Keith holds qualifications in Media & Communications and has worked across live radio, television production, music events and digital broadcasting both in Australia and internationally.
